Shorewood Apartments is 21-unit apartment community located in Phoenix, Arizona. Pathfinder acquired the property from a regional bank in January 2012.
Shorewood Apartments, built in 1960, consists of seven one-bedroom/one-bathroom units and 14 two-bedroom/two-bath units, ranging from 855 to 1,203 square feet (average of 1,087 square feet). Shorewood is located near Central Avenue in Phoenix’s “uptown” neighborhood, a predominately gay community. Shorewood’s exterior has a retro feel, which appeals to the target demographic. Our renovation strategy was to maintain and enhance the exterior aesthetic while updating and repainting the interior finishes and fixtures. We plan to operate the property as a stabilized multi-family community.
